News

GERAD of HEC Montreal

The Club has an access to the superior climate and energy models, elaborated by GERAD centre at HEC Montreal, Canada – AD-MERGE and ETEM, both developed by the team led by prof. Oliver Bahn.

AD-MERGE, an integrated assessment model that synergizes economic, environmental, and technological aspects. It uniquely incorporates climate adaptation strategies into its analysis, offering a holistic view of potential climate futures.

Climate Canvas

The dynamic Methodology is a key tool for SMEs to develop effective climate plans, inspired by the simplicity of the Business Model Canvas. It empowers SMEs for climate action, reducing costs, improving efficiencies, and enhancing market reputation. AI integration through OpenAI Chat GPT API enhances the Climate Canvas, making it user-friendly in multiple languages. The Energy Efficiency Framework complements the methodology, integrating into EU audit procedures for SMEs and promoting wider participation and sustainability. Together, these tools showcase Club Climate Europe’s commitment to innovative climate solutions for SMEs worldwide.

TIAM

The TIAM-UCL energy systems model is a global optimization model that investigates the decarbonisation of the global E3 (energy-environment-economy) system. TIAM-UCL allows us to better understand the global costs and benefits of many different decarbonisation options.
